FFP Rifle Scopes
Reticle subtensions that stay true at every magnification — the first focal plane family.
An FFP rifle scope keeps its reticle and its target in the same optical plane, so holdover marks stay valid at every magnification in the range. For importers, distributors and private-label brands building a first-focal-plane line, KANDAR supplies FFP rifle scopes for export under OEM or house brands; die-casting, machining, optical lens coating and binocular assembly are among the processes the company lists in-house.
What Defines This Product Group — and Who Buys It
In a first-focal-plane (FFP) scope, the reticle sits in the front focal plane, so it grows and shrinks with the image. A reticle mark that reads 2 mil at 25x still reads 2 mil at 5x — the subtension stays constant, which is why FFP designs suit shooters who range with the reticle or dial holdovers at variable power. In a second-focal-plane (SFP) scope the reticle stays a fixed size, and its subtensions are typically calibrated at one magnification only.
Neither system is "better" — the choice depends on use. FFP tends to appeal to long-range and precision shooters who change magnification mid-string; SFP is often preferred for close- to mid-range hunting where a bold, constant reticle at low power matters and holdover work is minimal. KANDAR produces both, including SFP models such as the 1-6x24 SFP, so a distributor can build a coherent lineup across price tiers. OEM and Sourcing Notes
OEM and private-label production is offered across the KANDAR range, with terms agreed per program. The company's in-house processes are detailed on our factory page, and every finished optic is inspected piece by piece before shipment (see quality control). Certificates available upon request.
For distributors and outdoor retailers, the practical path is usually: sample one FFP model, confirm the specification against your market, then scale into a private-label order alongside SFP SKUs. Pricing, MOQs and lead times for the Vor and SFIR models are quoted on request so that configuration and volume can be matched to your program.
